Job Title: Outreach /Special Events Coordinator
Reports To: Associate Pastor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Prepared Date: 12.4.23
Summary: Direct and oversee the Outreach Program and Ministry Events in planning and executing all functions that are essential to create and sustain viable and dynamic ministries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Foster and develop a vision and culture of outreach at Victory OKC
- Co-lead at setting up, developing, and operating outreach projects for Victory OKC
- Recruit and develop volunteer leaders with passion for outreach
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, such as Putnam City Administration, strategic schools, City Center, etc.
- Attend leadership meetings, as directed
- Develop and maintain departmental budgets
- Plan activities as needed for ministry areas i.e., special events, communion, outreach Circles (groups)
- Provide assistance during main worship Gatherings, including connection with people, offering
- Maintain correct information in Church databases (i.e., Planning Center)
Supervisory functions: No supervisory functions.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
