Summary: The Associate Campus Pastor is responsible to provide pastoral care and direction to staff, volunteers, and ministry departments, as well as to oversee various church-wide programs and events. He/she works with the Campus Pastor to carry out the vision of Victory Church at the campus level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide pastoral care during office hours and on Pastor on Duty rotation
- Assure each Worship Experience is staffed with volunteer teams for areas under their direction
- Recruit and develop volunteers; implement and direct volunteer training programs
- Oversee campus department leads as well as assist in all departmental and ministry events
- Attend leadership meetings as directed
- Develop and maintain departmental budgets
- Provide pastoral assistance during main Worship Experiences, including attendance counting, offering, and greeting at door
- Maintain correct information in Church databases (e.g., Planning Center)
- Assist in the leadership of the campus; lead campus meetings as needed
- Provide leadership for the development of ministry programming
- Work directly with the First Impressions and Groups teams to create an environment where people can easily connect in community
- Create environments that build community outside of church services, including leading participation in community outreach events
Supervisory functions: Has Supervisory functions.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
