As we pray for our educational system, we should focus on key areas that we want the hand of God to move:
- Safety and Protection for our students, teachers, administrators, and support staff.:
- Protection from sickness and disease. Isaiah 53:4,11 NIV, Matthew 8:17 NIV
- Protection from violence. Psalm 91 NIV, Psalm 140:1,4 NIV
- Creative Ideas and Witty invention for our teachers and administrators.:
- Create the best process to teach in a social distancing world. Isaiah 43:19 NIV
- Imagine new ideas that have deep and meaningful impact on students. Proverbs 22:29 NIV
- Create methods that best help children to learn and retain information. 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 NIV
- Purpose and Direction for all involved in the educational system.
- Wisdom for the administrators to have big vision and see beyond the single school year. Proverbs 2:6 NIV
- Wisdom for the teachers to teach effectively both academically and socially. James 3:17 NIV
- Wisdom for parents to be active and engaged with their children’s educational process. Proverbs 19:20 NIV
- Wisdom for students to engage and respond to their educational process. Proverbs 3:13 NIV
