2020 – 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting
A Glass Vessel Full of His Presence

“Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with.” James 5:16 The Message (MSG)

During the past weeks, the Holy Spirit keeps bringing this verse constantly to my mind… and I believe this is why: When we receive Jesus Christ as our Savior, our sins are washed, and we become like a vessel clean and transparent. But very soon it turns dark, full of the past and present sins (secrets), and we feel worthless to pray, to fast, and to be in His presence.

But in this season, as we are seeking deeply for the Lord, I encourage you to make “confession” a common and very frequent practice, first with God in prayer, then with a person living right with God. Allow them to pray over your life and believe that as you confess, that darkness is dissipating, and His presence is overflowing your vessel.

Heavenly Father, I want to be a useful vessel, full of Your presence. Give me the strength to confess daily to You in prayer. Thank You, because right now You are preparing the people that will hear my confession and will pray over me. I want to live a life transparent in Your eyes and in the eyes of my family, and I know that in Your power I can do this, and so much more through Jesus Christ. Amen.
