2020 – 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting
We Are Kingdom-Minded First

“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.” Ephesians 2:19-20 NIV

Here at Victory Church, we are Kingdom-Minded first. In my experience, it is impossible for me to be Kingdom-Minded until I first learn my relationship to the Kingdom. Ephesians 2:19-20 is one of many passages in the Bible that tells us our place in our Father’s Kingdom. Through Jesus, we are not only forgiven and given admission into the Kingdom; Jesus died and rose again so we may be fully restored to the chosen status of citizens of God’s

Kingdom. And we are more than citizens. We are adopted as children of our Father-King; members of God’s household! As we learn to open our hearts and allow our Father to speak the truth of who we are, we learn that we are specifically chosen, adopted-in-love members of the Royal Family of the Kingdom of the Sovereign and Living God. Learning this truth awakens our hearts to the reality and glory of our Father’s Kingdom!

Father, please give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that I may know You better. Please open the eyes of my heart so that I may know the glorious hope to which You have called me, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in Your holy people, and Your incomparably great power for us who believe. Ephesians 1:17-19 NIV (paraphrase)
